Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Your account
- Give accurate details at signup and keep your login private.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for the users and partners you invite.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Free rooftops and paid plans
New accounts include 10 free rooftop designs with no time limit. Paid plans are billed per user per month, or per user per year, in US dollars, as shown on the Our Plans page. Design credits, user limits and monitored plant limits apply as described for each plan.
Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Prices may change at renewal; we will give at least 30 days' notice by email.
AI roof designs are drafts
Rooftop outlines, shade checks and panel layouts are produced from satellite imagery and photos, which can be out of date or unclear. They are drafts to support your work. A qualified engineer must verify roof structure, shading, electrical design and safety on site before any installation. You remain responsible for the final design and the installation.
Estimates are estimates
Generation, savings and payback figures are estimates based on location, roof, usage and assumptions about weather and losses. Actual results vary. Quotes produced on the platform label these figures as estimates, and you agree not to present them to customers as guarantees.
Subsidy support
Subsidy File helps you organise documents and track the status of applications. Eligibility and approval are decided by the government authorities. We do not guarantee approval, the amount or the timing of any subsidy, and scheme rules may change.
Your data and your customers' data
You own the data you and your team put on the platform. You confirm that you have the right to store your end customers' details and documents, and that you have told them how their information is used. We handle this data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for genuine solar sales, design, installation and service work.
- Do not upload unlawful content, or documents you are not authorised to hold.
- Do not try to break, overload, copy or reverse engineer the platform, or access other accounts.
- Do not resell access to the platform without a written agreement with us.
Inverter and third-party connections
Plant Monitor depends on data from inverter vendor portals and loggers. We are not responsible for gaps or errors in data supplied by third parties, or for changes they make to their access.
Availability
We work to keep the platform available at all times, but planned maintenance and events outside our control can cause interruptions. Where possible we announce planned maintenance in advance.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from use of the platform. Our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to the fees you paid for the platform in that period.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after notice where reasonable. After closure you can export your data for 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and Indian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
